Theodore Ishimwe

Theodore ISHIMWE is a filmmaker and investor in film, media and entertainment specialized in film production and distribution, graduated in filmmaking and Tv production and mastered in composting and visual effects, Theodore have been a lecturer at different university in film and multimedia including IPRC KIGALI ,UNILAK, East Africa University and principal of Kigali Film and Television School (KFTV School) and has been a festival speaker and judge in different film festival and film awards.

Theodore worked on different films production localy and international and has a en expereince of over a decade . Theodore worked also for different NGO and different institions both local and international. Currently he is working with Rwandan government under Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) as a film expert , CEO of Cinetie and co- founder.

Theodore has a current initiative to develop the film industry by enabling filmmaker around Africa to co- produce and distribute their film globally through the partnership with Cinetie . He also serve as the vice president to Rwanda Film Federation and member of board and vice president of Rwanda Film Operator Union ,a union of all film technician in Rwanda.

Theodore is also a sportman ,he plays football, basketball and volley ball and karate blackbelt. He is the co founder of Kigali Titans Basketball Team, a professional basketball team that plays in division one in Rwanda.
